DVDS:  

     We started a DVD program as a supplemental teaching form, used to further develop the 
rider's understanding of how their seat should be,  and how to accomplish different various maneuvers
including the 'Basic Handle'.  
     The DVD's include watching school riders and students being worked, and Ron working 
school horses.  All DVD's are narrated by Ron McLoughlin, accompanied by music.  This
is an excellent way to see how each maneuver is mechanically accomplished.  Listening to the student feedback, 
we are excited to notice that this teaching tool has been a great addition to our program.
     First of all, we can't put everything there is to know on any one subject in a 30 to 60 minute DVD.  If we tried
 to, it wouldn't be a good video.  It would either get too confusing, or be leaning towards  entertainment.  
Therefore, our DVD topics will be revisited from time to time.  We will repeat some of the topics, and go more in 
depth.  This is the way that it has to be, as it takes years to learn these riding techniques.   Also, you need to 
think about how you watch each DVD.  You can look at them as they are, watch them with no sound, or watch
them in slow-motion if possible.  You can also pick just one or two horses' goes in a work, and watch it over 
and over for a week.   
     These videos are not meant to entertain you, they are meant to be added to our program to help your 
understanding of the 'Basic Handle' and other maneuvers, and how to use them.

     These CDs can help the rider train their horse, AND themselves, by riding directives given
      by Ron McLoughlin who has conducted over 946 clinics to date.
      Each CD is a 30 minute work out for your horse, set to music.
      You can listen to them over a loud speaker system, or as most of our students do, download
      them onto an I-pod or your phone, and listen to them as you ride.
